Tsuki Sushi Bar, a Hip New Sushi Bar Opening Soon!

Tsuki Sushi Bar
, the stylish sushi bar, will open its doors to the public at the end of the month. Tsuki Sushi is a new dinning concept introduced to the international village/gas town area that blends fresh sushi, serving healthy options and oceanwise seafood with modern décor all rolled up into one flavorful experience.

We at VictorEric wanted the design to match the client’s high value for fresh and natural ingredients and developed a design concept that is clean, simple and emphasizes a natural Japanese culture. Our team is busy working away to turn this 1,000 square foot space, located at the corner of Pender Street and Abbott Street into a new trendy sushi bar exemplified with a modern japanese scheme using natural and raw materials and nutural colours.

New Urban Outfitters Keeps Some Original Architecture

A new Urban Outfitters will be opening on W. 4th on May 10th. It is located where the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce used to be (originally constructed in 1912).

According to Vancity Buzz, the building  ”maintains the integrity of the existing structure” and has kept some of the original materials.

Knowing that the building has kept some elements from the original structure makes me want to check out the store. I think this building is a part of Vancouver history and love that, even though it’s gone through some renovations, the history of this building is not completely lost.
