The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver reports that Single Family Detached Homes have increased in their sales and prices. These Single Detached Homes are still amongst one of the most favorite properties to own in Richmond and Vancouver West Side.
As I blogged in one of my previous posts, the Vancouver highrise/condo/townhouse market is doing amazingly well in terms of increase of value and development in the Vancouver Suburbs, but do not belittle the status of the Single Family Detached Homes.
Detached Home Sales:
In 2011, 659 houses were sold in February, which is an obvious and drastic increase from 398 house sales in January.
Believe the statistics. The sale records show that there is an increase of 25.2% in February 2011 compared to February 2010. Prices have also gone up at an average of 1.2% in February 2011 compared to February 2010.
