An Automated Desk from Jet Class

With the big office move just around the corner I found myself looking into new office furniture and décor. I came across a not only beautiful but very high tech desk from Jet Class. If there’s one thing Jet Class is known for, its luxury furniture that is designed in such a way that price is never in question.

The bold shapes are classic and sophisticated, especially apparent within their New York Collection. The desk with graffiti accents would allow for anyone to look glamorous sitting behind it. But the neat thing about his desk is that it’s AUTOMATED!

The desk slides forward for comfort. The monitor can also be tucked away when not in use. Watch this video for a full demonstration of the New York automated desk. Now the question is, how do I work this desk into the new office furniture budget?

VE Social: Bike Riding

What better way to spend a Friday evening than to go for bike ride in the beautiful city of Vancouver. Some of the VE Team decided to organize a bike trip from the office through Granville Island, Gastown and Chinatown. It was quite the adventure!

At VE, we believe in having a close knit group. If we work and play together, we can improve our employee’s experience with the company. We also encourage our team to share this positive experiences with our clients.

We plan to take advantage of this gorgeous weather and organize a few more outings together. Any suggestions?

Please enjoy some snapshots from our bike outing.

What’s your favourite bike route in Vancouver?

A New Gem in Mount Pleasant, Collection 45 Condos

After Friday’s team lunch (my first Friday Lunch) I noticed a new development in the area, Collection 45. Always being a fan of the Mount Pleasant community I decided to visit their website over the weekend. I was quickly impressed with the unique architectural design of the building and was soon wishing I was able to purchase a home in the ‘architectural sculpture’.

Collection 45, Mount Pleasant

Collection 45 is a 6-level  condo development in the heart of the vibrant Mount Pleasant community, located on 8th avenue and Main Street. But what is especially astonishing about this development is the unique two-level ‘scissor’ suites. The two levels in these suites are connected by a staircase that stretches up and over the main-floor corridor, maximizing space and giving you a townhouse in the sky kind of feel. Each two-bedroom suite expands from the north to the south side of the building maximizing beautiful downtown/mountain views and natural lighting.2 level Scissor Suites

This very unique architectural design is going to be a great addition to the community. The west facing suites are set back for better views and lighting. The building also includes strategic solar shading on both the west and south side of the building. Also the building was designed in an interesting folding nature to soften the height of the new structure to not overpower existing developments.

I can’t wait to see the finished development!

Colection 45, BuildingFeatures:

  • A 20-foot landscaped breezeway runs alongside the building, inviting passers-by to experience the architecture from all angles.
  • Innovative solar shading on the south and west facades keeps residents comfortable year round.
  • Rooftop green space providing stunning views of Downtown Vancouver
  • Five retail and office units contribute to the neighbourhood’s vibrant creative character and rich mix of small businesses.
  • European-inspired design blends modern appliances and cabinetry with the room’s contours and contemporary decor.
  • Matte lacquer cabinetry is paired with modern wall-mounted faucets in the bathroom
  • Prices between $319,000-$720,000

Taking Design Cues from fashion!

Just wanted to take a quick moment and introduce myself. My name is Christina and I am brand new to the VictorEric team. Hope you follow along as I blog about my journey with the VictorEric team and my tidbits on interior design, real estate and of course our beautiful city.

Over the long weekend, I took some time to flip through some interior design magazines and books to prepare myself for my new position here at VictorEric, I started to notice some similar trends in interior design and fashion.

As I explored my new reading material I noticed that you can also use furniture and accessories in bold patterns to add drama and excitement. Adding bold patterns and color to your space can make living a bit more pleasant.
