Unique Design Challenge: How do you give a fresh update to a Bakery chain with an 80’s image? VictorEric Design Solution: The smell of freshly baked goods all at an arm’s reach. Maxim Bakery is a self-serve Asian bakery with multiple locations. The client was opening a new store front in the busy Richmond Centre mall and wanted an updated modern look that had an efficient layout for their hungry customers. Maxim’s original look was stuck in the 80’s and what worked then doesn’t necessarily work in our new age. Don’t believe us? Look in your closet. Chances are you’ve weeded out the parachute pants, leg warmers and shoulder pads. It was definitely time to be out with the old and in with new . No business wants to look like its stuck in a time warp, especially if you’re in the business of selling freshly baked goods. That’s fine, if that’s what you like. But if you’re contemplating selling more products, you’ll want to eliminate the generation gap between your space and potential buyers. Since this first update, we have since helped them with 3 other retail locations. They always say a return client is a happy client.
