With fresh blossoms welcoming the sun’s return, escaping winter’s unseasonably long grip, there is a lot to be thankful for. Here at VictorEric we couldn’t be more thankful for March’s spectacular evening at the 25th annual Georgie Awards organized by Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia, where we returned with not one but two golden trophies!  Yearly, they recognize excellence in new and renovated homes in BC. Congratulations to all the Finalists, this year featured many truly illustrious entries. Thank you to all the judges and GVHBA, we are tickled cherry-blossom-pink that our entries were considered amongst such prestigious company. Our inclusion wouldn’t be possible without all the tireless effort put into the Hythe, Wiltshire and Cambridge projects by our contractors, suppliers and everyone involved internally. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for this recognition.

Geogie Award winning house for blogCambridge Residence

hythe Hythe Residence

The winning Cambridge Residence was built in a contemporary style that greets guests with a cluster of glass pendants evoking a sparkling rainfall. The floating staircase leads down to an entertainment room featuring a bar with an intricate fractal design. We are most proud of how, in aggregate, these little touches hint upon space and techno themes while remaining warm and inviting. This project was named “Best Any Room – New or Renovation” and “Best Interior Custom Residence – New or Renovation”, for which we are truly grateful.

Dinner was delicious and we had fun that night with Todd Talbot, co-host of Love It or List It Vancouver. The night started with a lovely dinner and ended with one of our own winning big at the casino games afterparty! Kevin won two tickets to a Whitecaps match!  With all the work he put into assembling the Georgie applications, this is an excellent reward and opportunity to enjoy the coming nice weather.

Now that the snow is behind us, it’s a perfect time to drive by our many award-winning homes in the Vancouver area.  Enjoy the tulips sprouting and maybe even swing by to say hello to our little friends which are standing guard in the Lana Room (Board Room named after Eric’s mom), just in time for Mother’s Day!
