That means the look, feel, weight and size of the Pendant Light should complement the dining room table over which it will hang – not the room it will hang in. If your table is long, choose a Pendant Light that can comfortably span it. If your table is round, choose one that matches that shape. Although you don’t want to match your room’s interior, you should still be aware of the effect the Pendant Lighting it will have on said room. To prevent overly harsh, or dim lighting, ask yourself how much light the walls, floors and table will absorb or reflect. Lastly if lighting in general is your only concern and not anchoring a space, perhaps pot lighting is all you need.
