This site is on a corner urban lot. We wanted a west coast modern style that was warm but contemporary. The house did not need to make a big statement, instead, we wanted an understated style with enough sophistication and thought put into the design that it could be appreciated timelessly. The landscape incorporated a lot of natural cast concrete for that modern look. Natural, locally quarried ledge stone was used with a clear stained tongue and groove cedar panel.
